Our COVID-19 Plan

We’re all eager to be back together.

The leadership of the Smithers Christian Reformed Church is meeting regularly to determine how to move forward wisely with our plan for (re)gathering together. The protocols described below are informed by CDC Guidelines, the Provincial Health Orders, and their practical implementation for our congregation and facility. This is not a set system, but rather an ongoing and evolving plan for bringing us back together in a way that protects the most vulnerable members of our congregation and our community.

Guidelines, recommendations, and safety protocols are incapable of creating a 100% risk-free or safe environment. We ask that you show grace and love in following our guidelines in an effort to limit the spread of the virus. By entering our facility, you are accepting that protocol will be followed to reduce or mitigate risk, but that the risk cannot be reduced to zero.

Church Council will be working through the Public Health Orders as they arise and are tasked with ensuring all our activities fall within prescribed guidelines.  If you have any questions, feel free to email elders@smitherscrc.com.
